Overview

This Theater District Italian restaurant is a head above the rest, and a great choice for upscale dining either before or after a Broadway show. It is run by Frank Pellegrino Junior, son of the owner of famed Italian restaurant Rao's in East Harlem. Baldoria serves such classic Italian dishes as Rigatoni alla Bolognese and Veal Scallopini with lemons and capers, as well as more inventive (and equally satisfying) items like Short Ribs with Polenta. If you are planning on coming by between Thursday and Saturday, you'll get to witness live Italian pop and swing music.
