Overview

This branch of Baluchi's is decorated with rattan chairs from India and inlaid tile tables. The Indian cuisine is just as luxurious, including a fish of the day prepared with exotic spices, chicken rich in yogurt and coconut sauce, and a variety of shrimp dishes. The tandoori platter is large and well prepared. Dress is casual, and prices are affordable. There are additional locations throughout Manhattan, including one at 104 Second Avenue between 6th and 7th streets.
