Overview
This Macy's claims to be the largest department store in the world. It is housed in a 20-story building that covers an entire city block. Indeed, the store is so large that it is easy to get lost in it. Fashion sections blur into jewelry, beauty, houseware, luggage and much more. There is even a post office, pet shop and a fish market. The store sponsors the famous annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, as well as the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks each year. Call for hours.Free facial while you take a few minutes to rest and get beautiful at the same time.

Was there 2 weeks ago and amazed just by the sheer size of the place.8 floors and on whole block os shopping. Have been to New York plenty of times, but this was my 1st stop at Macy's. It's has everything and has plenty of deals. Place to eat on just about every floor as well.An added plus is the deals right outside its doors as well.Vendors selling cologne, purfume, watches, purses, jewelry and just about anything for dirt cheap prices.Got good deals there and on Canal Street(China Town). Will definantly be on my list when I return for Thanksgiving along with the Macy's Day Parade.
I hadn't been back to my old town in many, many years. My husband and kids couldn't believe how many floors the store had. My teenage daughter couldn't believe her eye's to see so many clothes. The prices and selections were outstanding. The salespeople were super nice!
I went to Macy's on Black Friday. I would not necessarily say that this was a mistake, but I wouldn't be likely to do it again. However, it was completely worth it. First of all, when I went, a nice lady at the jewelery counter told me about the visitor's pass. The visitor's pass will get you 11% of almost all of your purchases! If this is available, defenintly take advantage of it!!! The jewelry department had amazing sales. Some things were 25% to 80% off! It is very crowded though because of the narrow walk ways. I absolutly love Macy's! I would recommend shopping there (but maybe not on Black Friday).
Once you visit this store, you will have no doubt itis the world's largest. It's remarkle, any shopper's paradise. It's especially amazing during the holidays.
