Overview

The Fashion Institute of Technology claims to be "where creativity and business meet." Since it was founded by clothiers in the Garment (Fashion) District, this claim is on safe ground. Started in 1944 with 100 students, today FIT has over 11,000 students majoring in over thirty fields. Students prepare to meet business head-on, many are involved in broadening internships. Calvin Klein and many other prominent designers learned their craft here.

The Fashion Institute of Technology was a Beautiful School set on a Very Nice Block where you See fashion through the student body. It has plenty of fashion history Starting at the Museum which contain many displays of several high end designers throughout the history of fashion. The Architectual views of F.I.T are also very attractive.

I will remember FIT as the best experience of my life. What I loved about FIT is the fashion and creative atmosphere created by the faculty and students. FIT is very professional at the same time, technical and competetive!

If interested in Fashion this is the place to go!!! A great program that consists of creative and technical techniques. There is always a costume exhibit on display!
