This small, stylish restaurant is unusually situated in a former signal box and a vintage Great Northern Railway carriage, in what used to be Jesmond railway station. A combination of the odd setting, the sumptuous decor and the high standard of service and cooking have made this one of the most popular Indian restaurants in the city. The Curry Club of Great Britain voted it the most original Indian restaurant in the UK. The excellent menu contains a wide range of dishes, many of which are original creations of the chef, and which, therefore, you may never eat anywhere else.
