Overview

This thundering adventure literally brings visitors beneath and behind the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, for a wild and wet time up close and personal with one of the world's natural wonders. Protected by rain gear included in the price of admission, visitors are taken 40 meters (125 feet) down and then another 200 meters (650 feet) through man-made tunnels. They come out at an observation area where the noise is deafening, the mist all-surrounding, and the view awe-inspiring. Audio tours are available in six languages.

Force of Naureby Yahoo | 2008-04-07 20:59:34 |

The experience was awe inspiring, the noise of the falls cannot be described, they must be heard. Any trip to the falls is not complete with out this trip. If you are claustrophobic it may be a little too much

it was okayby Yahoo | 2007-09-15 19:59:11 |

Not great. Not awful. Just okay. Cold, damp, windy, crowded, over-rated, over-priced. Free raincoat to add to your souvenier raincoat collection--a bright banana yellow. People in the know will know where you've been by your raincoat color. =)

Feel the Thunderby Yahoo | 2007-08-13 18:37:08 |

This was awesome you could feel the thunder from under the falls. You get to go under the falls in tunnels. There is also a deck where u can look out at the falls and look up.Again if u dont want to get wet dont do this.Feel the thunder & the Mist!Loved it.

plan on getting wet!by Yahoo | 2007-07-16 19:45:00 |

I did enjoy 'Journey Behind the Falls' You do get up close and personal with the horseshoe falls. Once at the base, and twice from behind. I liked 'Cave of the Winds, and Maid of the Mist much better, so if you have to pick and choose do one of the others!

BORINGby Yahoo | 2007-06-23 17:35:18 |

We did this as part of a tour we bought. This was the most disappointing and boring part of the tour. Glad it was a part of a package (which had mostly some great stops ride and information)because if I had paid for this singularly, I would be extremely upset.

Very disappointingby Yahoo | 2007-06-19 01:25:23 |

This attraction was part of the "Adventure Pass" we had purchased and was one of the things I really thought would be the coolest to experience, however it turned out to be the worst! You go down an elevator crammed with about 15 people to a tunnel where you see gushing water through a hole about the size of a doorway, was a real disappointment. Not worth the time or money.

Take a shower instead!!!by Yahoo | 2007-06-06 03:22:52 |

Horrible, you don't see anything except a shower of water coming down through a portal 20ft in front of you. Seriosly, it looks about the same as driving you car in the rain! I would recomment going over to the Amerian side and paying a dollar to go down from the observatory tower and walk up next to the falls.

Little, but must doby Yahoo | 2007-05-20 14:53:55 |

There is little to do there but if you havent done it already then it is a must do. The view you get is one of a kind but that is all you will get. The price is a lil much for a look out point but your on vacation so o well.

Highly stimulatingby Yahoo | 2007-03-11 05:00:13 |

Our then 10 year old was not too keen on the Maid of the Mist experience so we chose this as an alternative. We were impressed as was he! It showed an interesting facet of the falls without much moisture and total immersion. I'd do it again and I'm sure that my now 20 year old son would, as well. This is fun if you have small children who are hesitant about new experiences.
