Overview

If you think this inn looks older than it is, you're right. It's modeled after the Old Bell Inn in Finedon, England, which goes back to the days of King Harold. The conveniences, however, are right up to date, including cable TV and air conditioning. Located in the center of Niagara Falls with a view of the rapids at the top of the falls, the inn wouldn't be complete without a cozy pub to unwind in with a good pint. Pub grub is offered here as well as a good selection of beer.

not satisfiedby Yahoo | 2008-02-06 14:24:23 |

The atmosphere was very comforting with a scenic view of the river...really enjoyed that! I ordered my very favorite Prime Rib it was soooooo tough the knife would not carve through it....that is the gospel truth! one could tell that it was not of a roast but definitely MICRO-WAVED....not a good thing for a restaurant that has been in business for such a long time. I was terribly disappointed as i looked forward to it. I ordered it medium so it was NOT over-microwaved. sorry won't be back!

wonderful/ friendly/worth every centby Yahoo | 2006-09-07 19:14:05 |

My friend and I treated ourselves to this restaurant. It was excellent. The staff spoiled us or so we felt. The food was excellent and plentiful. The strawberry butter was to die for. I found the food pricey but worth every cent. Will go back as soon as I get back to Niagara Falls. Sounds like somebody is just plain nasty concerning complaining about having to cut up a friends lobster. Hope they dont go back as I would not enjoy dining near such nasty folks. Keep up the good work Red Coach Inn

"NOT" Disability Friendlyby Yahoo | 2004-10-12 12:38:53 |

A friend and myself went to dinner on Sunday Night. The food was good, although Lobster tail for $39.00 was a bit pricey. My friend ordered the Lobster tail and asked that it please be cut. (my friend has a disability that makes it impossible to cut meat/lobster) When they delivered the lobster it was uncut, and we were told that the chef would not cut it. Not wanting to ruin our "fun" or put a damper on the evening, I cut the lobster while my prime rib sat and got cold. I cannot believe that an "upscale" restaurant like the Red Coach Inn would treat their customers with disabilities like this. I am upset. After the meal, I told the manager about the problem, he told me that I should have told him earlier, he would have bought us dessert. Well, quite frankly Mr. Manager, we could afford the meal (although pricey). We just couldn't cut the lobster. Please train your staff. And as a suggestion, instead of having 3 servers per table, perhaps one server would have noticed that my friend had a disability. I won't go back.
