The Maid of the Mist will be the highlight of your vacation. Absolutely unbelievable to be right at the foot of the falls watching the water flowing down toward you! Well worth the $ and time for this trip!

This will undoubtedly be the highlight of your trip to this area. It was one of those family moments that you will all share and never forget! If you don't like getting wet or having water in your face, then this is probably NOT for you. But let me say, first of all for the money, it is a good value. The experience of looking up at those mighty falls, while you feel so small and insignicant is short of AWESOME! & although a relatively short ride, it will NOT be short on the feeling you will have when you realize its profound experience, its beauty & wonder. If you ride on the boats lower level then you will probably stay dryer, but why not just be part of the experience & get WET! in summer, you'll dry quickly anyway! I highly recommend this experience!

this boat ride was amazing it took you right into the horseshoe falls. it was a great experience and i recommend it to everyone who goes there!!!

I loved maid of the mist! I can't wait to go back! It's really loud and wet but its really fun! You get to go past the American Falls and then get so close to Niagra Falls, you get as wet (they provide ponchos) as if you were under it!

The first time was July 2002. We stayed on the American side..did Maid of the Mist from USA. Rode on the TOP....got very wet, nothing to hang on to and became quite dizzy from the waters. It was fun, though. This time, June 2008, we went again, however, stayed on Canadian side...which is definitely better as far as cleanliness and friendliness of the people....rode Maid of the Mist, took my mother who lived in the area as a teen but never saw the falls...LOVED IT!....we rode on the lower level of the boat which has plenty of places to hang on and I also pulled the hood of the rain poncho over my glasses so they would stay dry....it was fabulous. Everyone should do this at least once in their lifetime!

A great ride probably once in a life time experience. Get wet and see the falls up close. Make sure to take lots of pictures.

I lived in Niagara Falls for many years as a child. Being a child and a local, I never even thought about getting on the Maid of the Mist. Last July I went back and finally took my first trip on the boat. It is a amazing experience and I highly recommend that everyone do this at least once. Cannot wait until I go back and do it again! GREAT! We left from the US side and the trip was fantastic! The boat was full, but we had a great spot on the top deck right up front! We got just a little wet!

get to the left side of boat. Then you can enjoy the maid of the mist. Going to the top is a lot of fun, but some may not be able to tolerate the thunder and spray

This trip is amazing, is actually very beautiful, you get so close to the falls is very wonderful experience, I will defenetly do it again.
