Nice Quaint Setting On Lake Ontarioby Yahoo | 2006-02-09 05:05:54 |

I liked walking around inside and outside the buildings and liked looking at the architecture. This place has a lot a history to it. It was a clear enough day where I could see the skyline of Toronto, Canada from the other side of Lake Ontario. Being from Michigan, I have seen all four of the other Great Lakes, but this was my first time seeing Lake Ontario.

Fort Niagara for families with childrenby Yahoo | 2005-03-21 00:31:44 |

Old Fort Niagara should be on everyone's list of things to do when visiting Niagara Falls. It has a child friendly relaxed feeling. Great fun on a summer day, or visit during the colder months to see how it might have felt to live there many years ago!

Spectacular setting and interesting history!by Yahoo | 2005-03-16 18:40:24 |

We visited Old Fort Niagara while we were in the area visiting Niagara Falls. It was incredible! It is built next to the Niagara River, where it empties into Lake Ontario. It is just beautiful. We enjoyed walking the grounds and going into the buildings. This was an important fort in American history and the kids really learned a lot. Plus, it has a ghost story, which they love. Don't miss Old Fort Niagara.
