Overview

With four tennis courts, eight baseball diamonds, a basketball court and a softball complex, it is no wonder this is the most popular park in Niagara County. As the name indicates, it overlooks the Robert Moses Plant Reservoir where there are plenty of fish biting. Then, when the white stuff falls, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and sledding are the seasonal favorites. Anytime, a quiet walk along the nature trail is a peaceful way to end the day. Picnic areas are scattered throughout the park.

Sub-Par!by Yahoo | 2009-10-18 03:06:58 |

The first review is right on, nothing about this place is inviting or attractive. This place is an embarrasement to the NYS Parks System. Everything from the softball/baseball diamonds, to the tennis courts, basketball courts, and parking lots are in absolutely terrible condition. This place help quickly!

Depressingly terrible!!!by Yahoo | 2009-08-08 21:08:16 |

Reservoir State Park is one of the most depressing and underutilized parks in the Niagara Region. To say this place has potential is an understatement. However, the tennis courts, basketball courts and ball diamonds are all in a state of disrepair because of lack of attention/maintenance. The ball diamonds are still used quite often by local leagues, but they are by far the worst diamonds in all of Niagara County. The parking lots have large potholes and flood with slight rain, because the drainage system has not been maintained. Long and uncut grass make is park particularly unattractive to drive by or use. Overall, the State of NY Parks Department and Niagara Power Authority should be ashamed of this “park”---it’s more of an abandoned field.
