A few years ago, Place du Palais de Justice was a somewhat abandoned area. The answer to this: the setting up of small markets (book, record and art markets taking place on alternate Saturdays) has turned out to be quite effective. Now, a good many book enthusiasts and shoppers come to see what this book market's stalls have to offer. In spite of quite big crowds, it's still possible to find a real gem at a good price or, even more easily, a good detective novel for just a couple of francs.
