This 30-year-old fish restaurant is an institution in Nuremberg. The menu will take you a good while to plough through, with an enormous choice of oysters, prawns, trout, salmon and of course carp - the Franconian favorite. Carnivores are well catered for with a selection of tasty meat options like schnitzel. The Franconian fish platter with trout, carp and perch in chive and horseradish sauce is highly recommended. Everything is freshly prepared, meaning that orders can take quite a long time to arrive. Impatient customers can, however, order from the online menu in advance.
