Its not bad, its just not really good.by Yahoo | 2007-07-09 00:01:17 |

My family and I went to the park while vacationing in Oklahoma City. This was supposed to really be the high-light of the trip for our 5 kids. My husband and I had been there 10 years ago and remembered having a really good time so we thought, why not? Well, the park does look like it is in need of some maintenance. It does look pretty run down in spots. I can't say I'm surprised that Six Flags sold it. The rides do seem to break down a lot. The Hangman had been broke down since we arrived in town and had called to see about the rides. On the day we went, the Diamondback was also not operational. We did not have to wait in long lines for hardly anything. The prices on their drinks is way too high. $3.50 for a bottle of water, $3.75 for a large pop which is a 20 oz to them. Its $8.00 for a cheeseburger so I don't recommend eating here. The Prarie Schooner broke down while we were there but they did get it back up and running. It seemed like everyone in their kiddie land decided to take a break at the same time and they closed all the rides down for over an hour. While we were there it rained and after that, none of the rides were operational. We were told that they had to wait on maintenance to come and reset all of the rides. This was at almost 6pm & they were only open until 8pm. They had no idea how long it would take. So we just decided to leave. Another thing is the Nightmare Mine which is an indoor rollercoaster has no brakes we were told, so they won't reopen it. Guess brakes are too expensive? It was also kind of sad as we were leaving they were still taking money from people coming into the park without telling them that none of the rides were going. Seems like they'll do anything for a buck, but fail to put any money back into the park. I do hope that they keep it open though. It was once a very nice family place to go.

Won't be back!by Yahoo | 2007-07-02 17:11:12 |

On a season weekend this is what it was like. We paid 33.00 per person plus 6.00 parking and there were 4 of us. Barely a quarter of the food huts were open, half of the big rides were open and the horsles carraige ride only had one car that was working so you had to wait for that one car to go all the way around it was a mess. The price keeps increasing on every thing but it is getting more run down. For one 20oz. coke it coasts 3.75 or 10.00 for a plastic park cup. If they are going to have those kind of prices you would think they would put some of that money back into the place but it is clear they aren't. Most of the employees running the rides look and act like they are on auto pilot. It is a shame that Oklahoman's have to go to Six Flags Over Texas for real park fun instead of in our own home town. They should be ashamed at those prices for what they give you.

Don't over look this oneby Yahoo | 2007-06-17 02:40:36 |

We've made many of the Mega-Parks and Frontier has as much as them all. Plus you can get on all the rides you want with all the wait! We have never been on so many quality rides in one day, it was jam-packed. We live in Texas and We are planning to go back this summer.

will go again but not all the timeby Yahoo | 2007-06-16 20:49:01 |

Cost to much, really could not enjoy it. Also, not very many things for the little kids. There was alot of good rides for the older kids.

Not too funby Yahoo | 2007-06-07 17:49:17 |

The rides hardly ever work. The place is dirty all the time. And the people that work there are extremely rude. I am not sure, but it looks like it is about to close down.

This was a very enjoyable place. It was run by all very friendly folks. My kids had no trouble getting onto any rides or attractions. The only down thing I can say about this place is that the restrooms need a little bit more attention. Other than that, we had a great time. The shows are good too.

Mediocre and Not very cleanby Yahoo | 2007-06-01 13:41:31 |

This "amusement park" is more like a large area of carnival rides. Some of the smaller rides are fun, but the major attractions are poorly maintained and constantly shut down for maintenance. One day we went 3 out of the 4 major rides were closed. There are some fun games and carnival rides like the pirate ship, swings, ferris wheel and tilt-a-whirl for the younger ones, but this isn't the park for you if you like coasters. The silver bullet is jerky and uncomfortable and poorly maintained. Enter at your own risk!

Well worh a visitby Yahoo | 2007-05-22 19:33:20 |

I like the concerts they have every summer. I enjoy the family atmosphere. I Have bought a park pass for several years now, and heve got more than my moneys worth of fun. Adulta and children would like it. They have a variety of shows and concerts throughout the season. The silver bullet is my favorite ride, but I also like the wildcat, which is the rollercoaster they have there. the park pass pays for itself in about three visits. Well woth the money spent.

good.. pretty darn good!by Yahoo | 2007-04-13 21:10:19 |
