Not a Little Zoo!by Yahoo | 2009-10-23 01:02:29 |

We stopped here with our 15 month old baby. We didn't expect a huge complex. We were expecting a little hometown zoo. It is entirely more than that. The exhibits of all the different animals were great. Disapointly though the elephant was in Tulsa on a date. But the primate exhibit was good. As well as the local group of animals you have in the barn exhibit, you don't usually see local animals, especially common ones at a zoo. This made it that much more special. There is a lot of walking in between exhibit though. Great midwestern zoo!

OKC Zooby Yahoo | 2009-03-17 14:06:41 |

Once you have been to the Fort Worth Zoo, nothing compares. Well, at least not the OKC zoo. It was a lot of walking to see a limited number of animals. Giraffe and Zebra exhibits were great though.

very niceby Yahoo | 2007-06-18 21:59:13 |

I'm from Tulsa, and we pride ourselves on how great our zoo is, but when i came here last year i was greatly surprised. this is a zoo that you can go to do do many other things than i could imagine. and there were actual employees everywhere. which at the Tulsa zoo you don't get that. we went in the summer, yes the hot hot Oklahoma summer, but to my surprise, they have misters that you can turn on and mist yourself and cool yourself off. they had an expansive assortment of animals. the whole zoo was very unique, and fun and very very large. i was so impressed! my family and i really enjoyed ourselves........it is most refreshing, and we will defiantly be going back!

Favorite OKC Venueby Yahoo | 2006-09-06 17:52:39 |

I love outdoor concerts. The OKC Zoo Amphitheatre is a great place to sit on the grass on your blanket and listen to music.

Great Zoo!by Yahoo | 2006-07-02 19:05:15 |

Loved the zoo! Walked some, rode the tram some, saw it all. You have great animals, lots of places to rest and get out of the sun. Would recommend it to young and old alike.

Willie Nelson Concertby Yahoo | 2005-11-11 15:01:11 |

Willie Nelson put on a Great show. It should never have been at the Zoo Amphitheatre. The people that paid for expressline tickets were told that the extra $5 a ticket was to get good seats. Well, the regular ticket holders rushed to the front of the amphitheatre and Stood during the entire concert. They were not made to sit down and everyone in their path was stepped on! It was Horrible! Never again will I Ever go back there!
