Overview
The Science Museum Oklahoma has more than 350 hands-on science exhibits to see, and if you have little ones (under 6) there is an area with all sorts of hands-on exhibits just for them. The Air and Space museum has one of the most complete collections of this type of memorabilia in the southwest. You can also visit the Planetarium or the Dome Theater, a dome screen theater that surrounds the audience.Open Hours

We were there to visit the zoo actually. It was very cold that day, and the animals would of just stayed in their cages due to being cold. So we decided to check out the OmniPlex. What are you going to do when you have visitors from out of town, well once inside..its like ahhh, OMG! Its expensive. Especially if you want to see the body within. Very high priced in my opinion. We werent expected to pay $175 that day. They didnt have much of a discount for military either, but a $1...If it hadnt been for the weather, I would of just been satisfied with the zoo. They give discounts to the military too. I dont think it was worth the money. They need to drop the prices more especially since you cant touch nothing in the body within. $30 each for the 8 of us to walk around cabinets...dont think so. I think you'd get more people to visit there, if the prices were more reasonable. We werent not at all happy that day due to our relatives that came to visit. We couldnt afford it being in the military but having to drive our guests from out of state, we had to go in there to see the exhibit..otherwise, we would of just hung around outside all day or even walked the zoo. TOO MUCH MONEY! We will not be back to see that place...they could of offered more of a discount to our military.
this place was pretty cool, kept the kids and my hubby busy all day long, they had a blast........though some exhibits were out of order, or not taken care of well, and i think for as much as they charge they can do better at keeping up things such as that, but all in all it was pretty entertaining....
I loved the Omniplex and it is well worth the money. My kids spent a full day there playing, watching both omnidome films, and seeing a planetarium show. It was amazing. The people at the box office were especially nice and helpful. They informed us of everything we needed to know...i believe their names were Heather and April...thank God for them!!
all of it was just breath taking and the people in the gift shop are so nice!!! can't wait till next time i go! so have a splendid time if you go!!
We have had 2 season passes and we love it. The kids love it, too. What an education! We have 4 children, so buying the pass for the whole year is the way to go. Definitely recommended!
It is a great place for kids. Well, I take that back. It is a great place for the WHOLE family. There is lots of stuff to do and it never gets old. We are waiting for the Tree House that will be there. That will be fun for the kids. Tacey
I went to this museum when I was in high school, nearly ten years ago,it was fun then---and even more fun now. My favorite was the "Shadow Maker Box". It was lots of fun!
I think the kids were having fun but seemed to get bored really fast. When we went to the olanetarium show "Oceans in Space" the film/presentation broke and so it was substituted with the guide trying to show us what stars would be in the night sky that night - which is not what I paid to see. Customer service returned our money but I was still a little disappointed by the expereince.
The omniplex is basically a collection of little attractions in one place. The kids zone looks really good and keeps both the kids and the adults entertained. The planetarium is interesting, but not suitable for small children unless they can sit still for 30 minutes. The collection of plane and space items is excellent and well laid out. The area dedicated to the native Americans was worth a visit. The best part of the visit is the omnidom theatre, it is awesome, I would have paid just to see this. Overall good value for money.
