The staff was really nice and the rooms were really clean. It was nice being able to walk to all of the restaurants and just a 2 minute drive to the zoo! I would stay here again on my next trip to Omaha!
My family and i stayed here 8-8-08to8-10-08, we always stay at embassy suites but this was the best we have stayed so far.The room was very clean and the service was great. The total hotel was very clean even in the pool area. The food was very good and the managers reception was nice. The hotel is very close to most of the attractions such as the zoo 10-mins and old market 30-seconds away, old market is great. Try Tio pizza it is the best.Once again thank you embassy for coming thru again.
From when I stepped out of my vehicle to when I left, The staff was extremely helpful, Kind ,courteous. The Hotel was very clean and well kept and decorated. Was able to tour the old market and enjoy some shopping and lunch, everything was right out the front door.(didnt have to take the car and hunt for parking. I enjoyed the managers reception and the food at the resturant was so good that I had to let the chef know ....he came out and was appriciative. swam in the pool ,there was already towels on every chair and the water had perfect temperature. The bed was more comfortable then my bed at home. slept very well...then the breakfast was huge and very delicious .also again the staff super helpful and kind. I highly recomend this hotel.
We had the most beautiful room ever in this remarkable hotel. It had to be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The staff could not have been nicer or more sensitive to our needs. It was located right across the street from the historic market district and was a short drive from the Dorley Zoo, a major attraction that all should visit. Our train was not to leave until late in the evening. The hotel staff took care of our luggage even after we checked out so that we could go to dinner and made sure we were able to get to our train on time. The price was a bit more than I would usually pay, but the service far exceeded my expectations. We had a lovely meal in their dining area and a refreshing swim in the pool. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again, if given the chance. My granddaughter was especially enchanted by the wonderful waterways and goldfish exhibits that ran throughout the lobby and dining areas.
If you book with a package that includes free valet parking, free tickets and/or free food delivered to your room - be patient and double check your bill. They forgot all 3 and we had to call the desk or go to the front desk 6 times for a 1 night stay. Rooms are ok. Not impressed. Get more for the money at Homewood Suites. I was disappointed in the view. Try to get a room that overlooks the Old Market or downtown- other sides are kinda blighted areas of town or have streetlights that belong in a football stadium.
I thought this hotel was one of the best I've stayed at! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were very large and had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The complimentary breakfast was awesome - unlike the other hotels who offer muffins & coffee - this hotel cooks omlettes made to order! There was one bad experience when I first checked in (with a reservation #) and was told they oversold their rooms. I was then shuttled to a different hotel (not nearly as nice but not bad) and my room was paid for by Embassy Suites. The next day I finally got my room. They not only paid for my room for the one night I stayed at the other hotel, but they had a huge fruit & cheese tray waiting for me in the room when I was finally able to check in. They even had champagne & strawberries one night in the lobby. Excellent service. Would definitely stay again if ever in Omaha!!
I enjoyed 3 nights stay at this hotel. All the accommodations were excellent. After I checked out and paid my bill in full, the hotel charged my credit card an additional amount. I called the hotel, and they will not correct the error. They say they have no record of an additional charge, despite my showing them my credit card statement. My party spent over $20,000 at this hotel, but I guess they needed to hit my card for a little more money. Of course they have records of all credit card transactions! Why won't they fix it? This has ruined an otherwise pleasant experience. I will not return.
The service was absolutely phenomenal. I loved the polite staff...Everyone from the reception desk, to the hospitality staff. The complimentary breakfast was definitely a plus. It beat every other hotel comp breakfast I've seen. Great location in the Old Market. Fun atmosphere and very relaxing. I recommend giving this hotel a try. It's worth every penny.
Our stay at the Embassy Suites was fabulous. From the King Size bed, to the 2 tvs, to the mini-fridge, it was a great suite w/ everything we wanted. The bed was comfortable (and huge!) and the location is great--right in downtown near the historic Old Market. My one complaint would be w/ the lighting/ventilation in the bathroom. But, most hotels don't ever get that right, so...not a big deal. I only wish that we would've woken up in time for our complimentary breakfast.
I wanted to say that I thought that the Embassy in downtown Omaha was great! I went there for my christmas party for work and they accomidated me well. The rooms were clean and staff friendly! There complimentry breakfast was wonderfull and it all worked out well. I hope that next year we go back it was great! Thank you Embassy!!
