This is great museum which shows a many aircraft that were associated with SAC. The range of aircraft is good with some that are rarely seen in other museums. I wish that we had a similar modern museum in our part of the UK. Thoroughly recommended as a place to visit.
Great place to see aircraft used to defend our nation, to learn about Strategic Air Command and US Strategic Command. Great afternoon visit, low priced. We did it while awaiting a football game in Lincoln. Great folks in Nebraska, thanks for a good time.
well when i attended the museum with my school they various simulation rides and austronout stuff out on display but when i took my family there it had none of that cool stuff i wanted to show them we couldnt even get in that one back part of the airplane like we did when our class went u guys should leave all of that stuff out all the time it would make it more interesting for everyone
Well organized, friendly staff, very clean facility had a great time and very educational.
Our company had a function there after hours. It was interesting to be able to see all of the plains and etc. It was an interesting meeting
My wife and I absolutely loved this museum! Seeing and touching these beautiful birds was incredible. Also great to see the restoration of another B-29. My wife finally saw the aircraft that her dad flew, the B-36...close up and personal... and I got to see my all time favorite workhorse(in WWII colors, no less!),the C-47Dakota 'Goonie Bird'. I highly recommend this museum for any WWII or Cold War aviation buff...you will not be disappointed!
The most impressive plane on display is SR-71. Other than that, the mueum ispretty borring. There are several "historic' planes such as U-2, B-52, MIG 21, but no modern aircrafts. It's relativelly small museum and it is a bit pricy. Overall, it'll take no more than 30-40 minutes to see everything.
