Fishing, hiking, swimming, horseback trail rides, indoor driving range and more is available all year round. Special winter fun includes sledding, cross country skiing and ice skating. For a different taste, you can book the dinner and theater package. This popular park overlooking the Platte river valley also offers cozy, modern cabins are for rent.

can't beat Mahoneyby Yahoo | 2008-01-08 02:15:26 |

Great place to spend the day or the weekend. Lots to do. Scenery is beautiful all year. Ice skating and indoor playground make it great to get away and burn off energy in the winter.

Honeymoon Perfectby Yahoo | 2007-07-14 01:45:12 |

This was the perfect place for my honeymoon, a small but beautiful cabin, we were able to cook together our own meals, we rode horses, played golf, took a paddle boat for a spin and just had a great time. Can't wait to go for our anniversaries!

Wonderful Timeby Yahoo | 2007-07-08 05:09:59 |

The only dislike is that I had to pay to watch the children swim even though I wasn't going to swim. I did love the swimming area though. It has four parts to it, an area for tiny tots, wave pool, water slide area and diving/swimming area. It also has a concession stand. We ate at the restaurant there and it was all the prime rib you could eat buffet and was very good. Wonderful views of Platte River from there. We want to stay in one of their cabins, but heard we had to book a year in advance.

FUN!by Yahoo | 2007-07-01 23:19:17 |

It's cool to hear all the sounds of outside of my Pop-up camper. When I go their during the summer time I always have to go swimming. It's so much fun to go in the wave pool, and go down all the water slides. Also, if you have time you could go to the Marina or play miniature golf OR even ride horses. However, everything their islots of FUN!

Love it!by Yahoo | 2007-01-31 03:56:38 |

Fabulous location for a family reunionby Yahoo | 2006-05-09 20:15:24 |

There was plenty to do for all ages. The water park was the overall favorite, but the activity center, mini-golf, paddle boats, craft room and observation tower were also fun. Everything is fairly close, but we did drive between most of the activities, so a car is kind of necessary. In the winter, the activity center has an ice skating rink which is also fun! The cabins were great.

it was awsomeby Yahoo | 2005-12-09 02:47:54 |

Fun for all!!by Yahoo | 2005-04-27 02:13:10 |

Both the camping areas and the cabins are very affordable, and there's something for everyone: trail rides, water park, nature trails, observation tower, craft center, playgrounds, a theater with excellent melodramas (you can even throw popcorn at the villain!), fishing, etc. etc. etc. Also at the same interstate exit (within 1/2 mile of the park) are the Strategic Air and Space Museum full of historic planes and other special exhibits, as well as the Lee G. Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari (a branch of the world-renowned Henry Doorly Zoo), where you can see elk, buffalo, cranes, deer, and much more up close without ever leaving your car. You can't beat Mahoney and I-80 exit 426 for an affordable family vacation or a family reunion (they even have cabins that can sleep up to 20 people). Just go and have fun!
