I can’t thank the Hilton Osaka staff enough for their gesture to help my young son, Adam. A few years ago I used to travel away a lot and when staying at the Osaka Hilton I bought a Hilton teddy bear. He adored the bear called Hilton and many of his adventures saw the bear close by. Sadly last year he left Hilton in a camper van and the bear is now continuing its outback adventure around Australia. For several months Adam would talk about Hilton. He really loved Hilton. It was very sad. One day we decided to write to the Hilton Osaka and a few weeks later a parcel arrived. Inside was not only a Hilton teddy bear but a wonderful little note. It said, “Dear Adam, I’m so sorry I got lost. I missed you so much. I’ve been trying to get back to you for a longtime now. I’m home at last. I’ll never go anywhere without you again. Love Hilton”. Adam was very happy and his mother cried a bit. Hilton will be cherished for a long time and is now shared with Adam’s baby brother. Thank you to the caring Osaka staff and I would like to pass on my deep gratitude. It is these small gestures that mean so much and reflect truly on the quality of your hotel.

hilton osaka is located in the centre of the city close to high class shops, business centre and underground shopping malls. The rooms are beautiful as is the rest of the hotel, staff are so friendly and helpful even if some of them had limited english. cons- hotels restaurants are very overpriced- we had coffee in the cafe downstairs and it cost $25 for two coffees! also the internet use in business centre is $7 for every half an hour and to use pay television each time is around $27!! i did not know this before i used it twice. overall a great place to stay...i stayed at three different hotels while in japan and this was my favorite ..just make sure you dont use the facilities in the hotel..there are great restaurants and cafes close by for half the cost. train station is also right across the street which is cheap and pretty simple to use - id give this hotel 4.5/5

The location across the street from Osaka station makes it a great place to stay. Service is impeccable and the rooms are reasonably sized for Japanese hotel rooms.
