Since 1960, this island-style lodge on the beach in Andros has one of the longest histories of any Bahamian resort. It has earned respect for its excellent diving programs and other guest services. First-time snorkelers and divers receive free training, and the more experienced can participate in advanced programs. Along with dive tours, the resort also runs land excursions. The 20 cottages are constructed from Andros pine and coral. The emphasis here is on "barefoot elegance" and total relaxation: no keys, suits or stress.
