Overview

In the heart of Paris, this plaza was the city's principal market in the middle ages. Today, it has become the largest shopping center, almost entirely underground. A paradise for the reckless consumer, this huge shopping arcade offers a selection of chain shops catering for a young and mixed crowd, as well as cinemas and a swimming pool. The Espace Créateurs (Porte Berger, Level -1) is a special section where you can browse and buy the creations of young and up-and-coming Parisian designers.

Open Hours

Mo to Sa from 10:00 AM to 08:00 PM

We loved it because the Metro stop was very close (less than a one minute walk). The shopping was very nice and with many affordable stores if you are on a budget. Food was no problem with many Bistros and also with Pizza Hut, McDonalds, and KFC within a two minute walk.

Forum des Halles is a great shopping centre to go to if the weathers not good, you dont want to walk miles inbetween shops or you just want to shop where the french shop! Its great! It has lots of clothes shops, and household shops and plenty of places to eat I've been here many times and I still think its better to get to the shops early as it can get quite packed. I would say you could easily spend 4 hours here shopping. Its not massive massive but its quite big enough.
