Housed in an 18th century granary, this elegant, old brick restaurant Bistro Romano has been a Philadelphia dining mainstay since 1988. Located in the historic Society Hill district, it is a favorite of the local media and ranks amongst the area's top restaurants. The Smoked Chicken Ravioli and the Veal Rosini are two of the menu's more popular entrees. Great Italian Restaurantby Yahoo | 2008-03-04 17:48:41 |

We had a great meal at this very European style restaurant. The caesar salad is prepare at the table and is the best anywhere. The pescatore was a nice combination of fresh seafood that had perfect seasoning without overpowering the delicate shellfish and fresh fish. My dining companion had the lobster ravioli which was equally superb. The service was very attentive and caring. I cannot wait to return to this Philly Great!

Excellent all aroundby Yahoo | 2005-06-23 22:53:59 |

What an incredible, romantic restaurant. The caesar salad, made tableside, is the best I've ever had. The lobster ravioli is outstanding; my girlfriend loves the chicken scala. Their daily specials usually include a fish dish; never been disappointed (had the mako shark last time). Very smooth green apple martinis. Very reasonable prices relative to the service, setting, and delicious food! If you are looking for a romantic dinner, reserve (in advance) the private wine cellar - there's only one table in this room, lit only by candles, decorated w/wine bottles from previous patrons.

Much better than #20!by Yahoo | 2005-05-31 12:31:01 |

My wife, son, and daughter-in-law had dinner at Bistro Romano over the Memorial Day weekend. The food was incredible, the atmosphere very romantic and the service above average. This restaurant makes my top 5 list for the US and we will absolutely be back!

Excellent Restaurantby Yahoo | 2004-12-06 22:58:46 |

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner here. The Caesar was the best I've ever had, it was prepared right at our table. The Lobster Ravioli was outstanding and the Tira Misu was great. Service was very caring and prompt. I would highly recommend.
