Date Nightby Yahoo | 2008-09-30 20:22:11 |

My wife and I went to Phoenix Greyhound Park recently and had a wonderful time. We went to the clubhouse there and had some great food and reasonably priced drinks. The view was great, we could see the whole track to watch the races and there was a nice view of Camelback Mountain. We actually got to pet a couple retired racers, I guess the Adoption program brings adopted greyhounds in on the weekends. I have to say, it was a good date night for my wife and I, we could actually hear each other speak because it wasn't too loud, unless the race was running and people were rooting for their dogs. We plan to go back again.

Not badby Yahoo | 2007-10-13 03:16:02 |

If you thought it was boring, that may be your own fault. Bring some friends and bet the dogs, have your own fun. It is not a bad night to spend out once in a while. Never saw kids running amuck. If there is, move to a new row far away, the place is big enough for it; or tell the manager. Not bad, I will go again.

What Happened???by Yahoo | 2006-07-16 19:17:49 |

I like dog & horse racing, but this is not a very good place. The night I went there, children were running all over the place, with no adults in sight. The general atmosphere was so dull I could have gone to sleep. What a shame to have a great building in such a horrible location. The only thing I can truly say is, this place should take a hint from the offtrack betting establishments and get their act together. Its not just the dogs, its the whole experience that brings in customers.

horrible placeby Yahoo | 2005-12-02 16:41:18 |

Great entertainment, small priceby Yahoo | 2005-09-05 21:35:58 |

I like the fact that this is a great place for entertainment, and no large prices. The parking is free, there is no admission charge, and if you don't make any bets, the nights entertainment is free. The food is basically snack food, and reasonably priced, very good though. The drinks are not expensive, and you can make $2.00 bets, which is not too much. All in all, we go to the dog track quite often, have a great Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and enjoy ourselves making $2.00 bets. We always have a good time whether we win or not.
