With Scottsdale and the Tempe outdoor malls, AZ Mills is nothing but a tourist trap
While AZ Mills might have great discounts they DO NOT have great bathrooms! My mother and I used a mall bathroom near JCPenney Outlet, in this bathroom we witnessed a most disturbing sight! Two restroom attendants were taking a bag of old half used rolls of toilet paper and re-rolling them together to make one large roll of toilet paper! I don't know about you, but I certainly don't want someones germy fingers all over something I have to use for myself! Let alone, they were pulling them out of a large plastic bag, WHO KNOWS where the rolls came from, where they've been, what they've touched. EW! Not only did I fret about whether or not my toilet paper was being recycled but there was ZERO soap for my mother and I to wash our hands with when we were finished! Great! Yummy! Thanks Mills Mall for the sickening experience! Oh and just to note, when I called to alert them of this disgusting account, each time I told the story I was transferred from one person to the next until I was finally emailed a complaint form to turn in. It was like no one even cared. Wow.
I absolutely loved it. I have never been to Arizona before and was amazed. My best friend had taken me there for the day and I didn't know were to go first! I hope to be back in October for another visit and I will be sure to come back in.
Since i've relocated to Tempe about 2 years ago, AZ Mills has become one of my favorite diversions. The prices I think are very reasonable and they do have a great deal of selections as far different types of stores appealing to different demographics. Like the others mentioned, it can get very crowded and loud over the weekend but overall it's not that bad. Virtually anytime you go you will see parents with young children, which is cool. Basically its a great place to shop, eat (especially the standout restaurant Rain Forrest Cafe) people watch, and get pampered, be sure to visit Fashion Day Spa for massages and facials that are out of this world!
It gets way too crowded on the weekeknds however, there are some pretty good deals on children' clothes and other items. Just don't like to be bumping into people while trying to walk to another store.
i loved jcpenny at AZ mills mall the best. But mostly i love the whole store its awsome. Also jcpenny is an outlet store with all kinds of stores.
Arizona Mills was one of my favorite places to go when I lived in Tempe. It was great for just a casual stroll for exercise, and it has every kind of store imaginable. Prices were good, even if not outlet low as someone mentioned before. You want outlet prices, go to an outlet store. Simple. It can be loud and excessively crowded, that's why I avoided it during the holidays, but other than that, a nice place to while away some time.
I really do enjoy going to the Mills mall and have been going since becoming a stay at home mom almost 4 years ago. Being a mother of a 2 and 3.5 year old, the bathrooms are very excessable for diaper changes and going shopping. My complaint, which keeps me from coming from NE Phoenix to AZ Mills more often, is the lack of play area for my children. The Westcor malls have very nice play areas for my little people to run around for a while, before and after I shop. In the summer, my friend's and I, from the PV Mall area, frequent the local malls, but stay away from AZ Mills due to the lack of a play facility. I hope some day they make this change.
We shop there all the time the prices are unbelievable . My favorite store is Guess you can always rack up on clothing, shoes and handbags.I also shop in Tommy and Gap. If you don't want to shop it's also a great place to just walk around to get out of Arizona's unbelievable heat. You can grab something to eat or catch a movie. You can look like a million bucks without spending it.
I like the way the entire mall by the food court, theater, and the clothing store. The food court has all my favorite foods, the theater is really big, which make it one of its kind, and the arcade room (game works)is full of different types of games.
