If you're even thinking about indulging the tobaconnist in you, please drop by Ye Olde Pipe and Tobacco Shoppe (or their sister store, STAG Tobacco at Metrocenter). The selection, atmosphere and pricing are fantastic -- but what really makes this store a gem is the staff. I spent over two hours looking for a new pipe and got nothing but helpful and patient advice -- in spite of the fact that I probably layed hands on all 1000+ pipes they have in stock. You know that would've driven any other shopkeeper CRAZY!!! These folks are the kindest, friendliest and most knowledgeable people I have met in a long time. World class customer service in Phoenix -- you know it's a rarity!

I've been smoking cigars for about 11 years but my wife is not too keen on the smell but likes pipe smoke smell. I told her I would give it a shot and she and I were able to compromise. I stopped at Churchill Cigars in Ahwatukee, Arizona where a gentleman named Eric Potter advised that if I were interested in learning more about pipe smoking, I should visit Ye Olde Pipe & Tobacco Shoppe at 20th St and Camelback near Trader Joe's. I went there yesterday after reading up on pipe on the Internet and a gentleman by the name of Marty helped me out. I told him I was new and he was extremely helpful and didn't make me feel like an idiot. I felt welcomed and he was very knowledgeable. In the end, I found a great starter pipe, understand why and how to pick certain pipes out, understand more about the two different kinds of pipe tobacco and how to care for my new pipe. I will most definitely be back! The Shoppe has the largest selection of pipes in the whole southwest! They have a wonderful walk-in humidor filled with thousands of cigars and also have a nice plasma screen tv with some couches to sit and watch while enjoying a smoke. Thanks, Marty! wonderful selection great prices have the best selection in vally ....great owner...they have legal cubans.and all types of import ciggeretts...plus they have a nice leather couch and a flat screen for you to watch while you try your new cigar or ciggerett...highly recomended place

We were in Phoenix a few months ago and noticed a beautiful White House humidor. We weren't into buying at the time and not into the White House, but found out there was a Jefferson Memorial coming out soon. When it did, I called, and the wonderful people at the shoppe was more than willing to pack it up and ship it to me across the country. It arrived quickly and in beautiful shape. Thanks guys. Sandy
