+ good envir + mini club - poor quality of the G.O. - poor logistic in organizing things (only follow the procedure & not service oriented) - no everything is free (coins for the pool which you need walk all the way to your room, then the reception - silly arrangement) - Mgt is not always available Great expectation but disappintment.

After a very positive experience last year in Clubmed Bali, we have decided to try Phuket this year. It was a very BAD idea. Instead a 4-5 star hotel (as it is in they publicity) we find a maximum 3 star club. 1. We have rented a standard club room. The room was NOT decorated and the rest room is so small that you can not close the door when you are inside. 2. The bath room was full of mushrooms on the wall also if they are try to hide it with some peintings. 3. We had a nice balcony with view, but any chair or furniture to site down. I have to go to the local market to buy two plastic chair. 4. In the room you have only one chair, if you are two, one should site down on the bed. 5. Our room was never set up before 2-3 PM and they never used decoration. 6. The evening a band is played in the bar. They are singing in playback and only old french songs. Several times the public is complaned to the bad quality of music. (the group was very good on the only day when the singer/leader was not present. They used a few GO as guest stars) 7. The restaurants are far from the buffet and NO restaurant is exist with service. 8. The quality of the buffet is mediocre and in 10 days we never have a valuable menu. The table wines quality is horrible. The food choice is very limited. (excepted the excellent breads and desserts) 9. The coctails in the bar are very mediocre and every evening a different staff served in the bar. 10. NO water sports available in the club excepted snorkeling. 11. On the beach you do NOT have enought place for all club members and NO shower available on the beach. 12. After one week they never changed the cover on the bed. 13. The local staff is absolutly NOT friendly and totally uncompetant. The forgot my waikup call twice.

I loved this place. It was the best place i have ever been to and it made my familys trip to thailand that extra bit better! It had great stuff for the kids like the circus club and the entertainment at night was superb. We are going back in christmass 2007 and can't wait. It was in a lovely location and the food was divine. I give it 10/10! (five star!)

i thourght that club med was great. the circus was the best. i am only 11 so i went to the jonia club and i was fun. all the activitys wer great and the sows wer to i am going back in january 2007 and am locking foward to it. the food was great i i am in a circus in perth so it was fun. the g.os wer lovley to me verry king and helpfull locking foward to going back. mum and dad said that it was also a verry relaxing holiday because they could send us to the kids club all day and she knew that we were having a good time with thge caring g.os. over all it was the best holiday i have evere been to with lots of great family activitys

We will never go back and Stay at club med, the place is very dirty the staff are certainly NOT friendly or helpful got attact on our balcony by a local and got NO apolgies from management or a phone call so see how I was (although security were very good) stray dogs everywhere VERY RUN DOWN very dissappointed and could not wait to get out of there after saying there for a week, we then went to the Merlin Beach Resort (pool access room) and let me tell you IT WAS HEAVEN!! for half the price

The greatest disappointment were the rooms and toilets. The airconditioning system didnt work well and we had to change rooms after the 1st night.. The 2nd room was no better. In addition the rooms are pretty basic and worthy of a 3* hotel. The bathrooms were mouldy and pokey. Besides this, the food was divine,the shows fabulous and the GO's wereout of this world. I would definitely do it again, just to experience the warmth, charm and talent of the GOs, who make the Club Med experience like no other.

I really liked everything about club med, the flying trapeze, de junior club, etc... The buffet was really good and the GO's are really friendly

Been there 5 times in the past five years. It's not a five star standard, but it's good, friendly and fun. More like a family place, kids absolutely love it. Food is great. price a bit stiff though.

I have never stayed at a Club Med resort before. I expected it to be more of a five star. However, it was still nice and the location was outstanding.
