Central Park is a great place for picnics, having many secluded spots bordered by hedges. The playgrounds and skate park offer fun for all young children. There are numerous sports pitches for rugby, football and baseball. It's an excellent place for walking dogs as there are designated dog bins around the park. The park also offers a trim trail that makes it ideal for walks and attracts joggers. The park is also known as home of local favorites, Plymouth Argyle Football Club.
