Overview

The Portland Art Museum's Northwest Film Center was established to promote the art of moving pictures and foster the work of local artists. One of the biggest festivals presented by the center is the Portland International Film Festival. At the Northwest Film and Video Festival, you will see the work of new independent artists judged by masters of the art. Another big event is the Jewish Film Festival in April. Cash only; ticket prices vary with the exhibition or festival. The historic theater also shows first-run movies.
