Sharon Wood, author of The Portland Bridge Book, leads walking tours of the city's river crossings for Portland Parks and Recreation and private groups. Once a month in the spring, summer and fall, you can sign up for one of her three and a half-hour tours. You will learn the history of eight city bridges and walk across two.
