I ordered a long island ice tea and it was soooo weak.... there was more coke than alcohol in the drink. The atmosphere was good though. They have a very small dance floor but it is not a big club. Just a side note... Things don't get jumping until midnight.. before then it is pretty boring.

At first I was hesitant when entering the "ZOO", but the bouncer, nick-named Antonio Banderas for his striking good looks, showed us to a fabulous table right by the dance floor! The music was great and the attention was fabulous. This was a vacation with just the girls and we had fun! We didn't realize it was 4:30am when we finally looked at the clock! I can't remember when I've been out that late. As long as you avoid the shots of "god-only-knows-what", plan to dance the night away. P.S. Our ages were/are 39, 46, and 53!

This place was dead most nights we were in town. And when there were ppl here the whole atmosphere was just uncomfortable the way everything was set up.

We have gone to P.V. every year since 1996. With each trip we always bring someone who has never traveled there. We have always gone to the Zoo at least twice during the week of our stay. I must say this past December (2005) we had the most unpleasant visit ever. We did not want to drink the 'tequila shots' brought on by the tequila girl. We ordered a round of coronas which were 2 for 1. We were waiting for one of the locals we met the day before so we were not dancing but just sitting and visiting. When our friend did not appear we got our bill. To our amazement, we were charged $75.00 US or $7.50 per corona. We were also charged for 2 coronas we didn't order. This is the first time we have ever experienced this. We complained and they didn't back down and we had to pay. We are Extremely disappointed in the Zoo and we will not go back. We could only pinpoint the outrageous cost to 1. We didn't drink the tequila shooters (we always have in the past) 2. We didn't dance (we always have in the past) 3. We were taking up space for someone who would do 1 & 2. We will be going back to P.V. in March and we will not be going back to the Zoo. I just want people to be aware to inquire about the cost of your drink prior to ordering especially if you opt to not dance or part take in the shooters. We are extremely disappointed in the Zoo's attitude and how we were treated as re-occuring customers who continually bring in new customers. We will Not go there again.

We had so much fun here when we went. Can't wait to go back.

Everything was Great about the Zoo. The dancing, atmosphere, the drinks and the staff was awesome! Hot guys everywhere! I just returned the first week of June and I'm going back for a long weekend with my sister June 29th. I love it!! I would love to move there....it would be like vacation year round and that would be awesome.

When I went with my girlfriends--we went out almost everynight. We always ended up finishing our night at the Zoo. By the end of my trip-not only had all the waitors memorized our names--but I ended up making out with one;). The dancing was crazy--especially on Saturday Night. The best time to go is around midnight between Thursday and Sunday. Don't expect to get seated on Saturday unless you go around 11. but DAMNIT! It's so worth it

Been to PV on two seperate occasions and we've always had the best time at this place. Great music and a great crowd. We'll be there again during the first week of May '05. Just wish there was one in the States!

I love this club..i've been to Puerto Vallarta 9 times and i always find myslef grooving at the Zoo bar. Love the atmosphere and the music, as well as the 2X1!! oh yeah Dante's not to bad either. Definatly a place to try!!
