Sterts is without doubt one of the most magical venues I have ever witnessed live theatre or music. The Summer programme offers a great depth of variety with something to suit all tastes, from Shakespeare to Alan Bennett via Kurt Weill, with bands as diverse as Celtic Rock, Jazz, Classical, and not forgetting Kiki Dee! On top of all this, the staff are friendly and helpful, the bar and bistro warm and welcoming, and, with the gallery well worth a visit too, certainly one of Cornwall's hidden gems. With its visiting dance and theatre groups and in-house productions Sterts continues to thrill me and my family with creative, thought provoking and exciting entertainment of the most professional standards. That, combined with its unique outdoor covered theatre space makes for a truly magical time in both sunshine and rain! I recommend it very highly.
