Overview

This elegant house by the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, once the residence of Eva Klabin, became a foundation in 1990. The rich interior contains some interesting antiques like furniture, family memorabilia, Chinese sculptures and a valuable porcelain collection. The attractions of the museum include an Egyptian sarcophagus of a cat and paintings by Tintoreto and Donatello.
