Obviously you have no clue about clubbing if you think that Italy is a bad place to go out. Cocorico, Tenax these are some of the best clubs in Europe. I've been to both and they're brilliant, I can't speak for Goa as I've yet to go there but I know from the line-ups that it commands that it is a good place to go. Most good clubs in Europe (bar London) operate a strict door policy, Italian clubs are nothing compared to somewhere like Berlin. As far as I'm concerned the stricter the door policy the better, it means philistines like the shirtlifter who blatantly got rejected (“they only let you in if you’re with girls”) on the pavement. ‘If you know what clubbing is...’ gets it spot on, this is techno club for people who like the music and know the scene. If you don’t know what I’m talking about the go find a pubcrawl with the other tourists.

to all ignorant previous commentators, this was one of the best music sets i heard ever. comparable to Ibiza, Mykonos and other summer clubbing destinations... if you are people looking for minimal, goa, psy or even some uplifting beats then you gotta go! it's not a place for typical mainstream songs and probably thats why other comments are bad. if you are true clubbers you'll like the music. if it's cheesy poppish tunes you are looking for then Italy is not the place for you but gloomy england! ...Feel the vibes...

I don't know what makes this bar "ethnic styled" - maybe it is the Pakistani busboys. Some reviews claim their was a mixed crowd- including tourists. This is not so..only Roman kids. There is an incomprehensible system for entering the club-basically you wait in a huddle until you get picked. This is probably because Italians are genetically incapable of forming a queue. The male-female ratio was quite good, however forget trying to get in if you are a single man or a group of dudes. You have zero chance. Luckily, my girlfriend is hot. The cover charge was 25 Euro per, drinks were 10. I asked for a premium brand- they gave me well. There is an acropolis where some people (not you) can ascend to sit on couches- otherwise you stand around the dance floor. The music is good. We had fun dancing at first until the crowd took over. The wanna-be rock stars then had epileptic fits that was supposed to be dancing or they stood around and gave you dirty looks if you bumped into them. On the whole, this place is yet another disappointment in Rome nightlife (lived here for three months now). Rome has a lot to offer but the nightlife is mediocre at best, this is mainly because Romans don't care abut having a good time- they care about LOOKING like their having a good time. Go to Amsterdam, it's more fun.

having lived and travelled in europe for 2 years, I have finally found one of the worst spots to go clubbing. Italy in general has a terrible nightlife unless you like drinking in the streets with backpackers, but Goa - claimed to be the best club of Rome - is even worse. Attitude at the door, terrible service, and wanna-be superstar clients make this a terrible place to visit. don't show up without women or you won't get in (1 woman per guy in your group). not worth the effort!
