Overview
Built between 1729 and 1755, the square is the city's central attraction, a masterpiece of Spanish Baroque architecture. Behind the impressive arches, there are numerous bars and cafés with terraces in the summer to enjoy daily city life passing by. It's an irregular square surrounded by three floors of buildings with symmetrical balconies above 88 semi-circular arches supported by solid stone pillars. The Royal Pavilion and the town hall are located here. There are decorative moldings that depict famous people who are somehow related to the city.WoW!!!!!!!i so want to go backMy favorite place in Spain
I loved it, it was so good i can't wait to go back the food was very good!!!!!! There was so much for both me and my kids.
it was perfect for everything, i got something to eat, then i went shopping, found a great hotel, it was so awsome!!!!!!!!! i would say that th best time to visit would be spring because there are more people and more shops it was just alltogether than when i went in the winter.
I LOVE the plaza. It is a wonderful place to sit around and people watch. Or get something to drink and listen to music, or do a little shopping. It's my favorite place in the city.
