Overview

In 1969, Robert Redford founded the Sundance Resort. This beautiful alpine retreat merges art and recreation while preserving the natural landscape. The hub of the Sundance Resort is Sundance village, complete with guest cottages, mountain homes, restaurants, artisan center and spacious conference facilities. Guests enjoy cross-country skiing, snowboarding, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking and fly fishing, outdoor summer theatre and art studies. The art classes offered at the Sundance Art Shack Studios operate under the premise that everyone has creative talents just waiting to be revealed.

Love it, look out for summer dealsby Yahoo | 2009-08-17 08:27:46 |

Sundance is an amazing place, the lodges are quiet restful and have breathtaking views. Sundance is the perfect place to find yourself, get away from everything. It also offers real romance and seclusion. June/July deals are great around $139 for a suite. My wife and I love this place and occassionally you get to see Robert Redford and the occassional Movie exec.

Nice but Expensiveby Yahoo | 2006-06-24 12:35:53 |

Very beautiful, but costly at $430/night. We stayed 3 nights in a Mountain Suite rented through the Sundance Resort, then spent 3 more nights in one of the privately operated rental facilites. The latter accommodations were every bit as good - and the price per night was less than half.

Spectacular!by Yahoo | 2005-10-09 06:01:08 |

The raw natural beauty of Sundance and the Wasatch make this a "must see" stop for any visit to Utah. Truly the best of Utah... More than just the "home" of the film festival, Sundance is a true year round resort...ride the ski lift in the summer and hike through the meadows and over to the spectacular Stewart Falls. Come ski (downhill or xcountry in the winter.... Be sure to try any of the restaurants--even the general store has great abeit $$$$+ food. Go. Experience Sundance.
