The Del is a beautiful hotel with generally good service and typical resort rates. We were disappointed do to room issues. They told us to enjoy the resort and they would call us when our room was ready. Our room was not ready until after 4pm, then they put us against the elevator and we missed the ferry to dinner. We only stayed one night and it could have been a better experience. I'd recommend a couple nights if your going to really relax and enjoy the place.

no, i never ate here and no, i never stayed here. but during my three year tour at naval air station north island, i will tell you this place is a palace. grab your camera and spend hours taking pictures of this magnificant grand old hotel. i know i did and it was simply breathtaking.

Beautiful grounds - good beach; room with the full ocean view was marvelous. BUT, not impressed with the dining room. Service was slow; a reservation was required; both food presentation and taste were disappointing.

this place is worth every cent. great service, beautiful accomodations and the views. wow. we stayed in the "old" victorian side of the hotel. room #3271. try it. you will not be disapointed. this hotel was just plain fun. we will be back.

Our family stayed at the hotel for 4 days and it was peaceful, relaxing and we were treated like royalty by the staff. I would highly recommend this get away spot and we look forward to future visits at the Hotel Del Coronado. Our morning walks on the beach were invigorating and relaxing and our room was quite close to the beach so we spent a lot of time there. There are wonderful restaurants all over the island and cute little tourist shops and boutiques so there is always pleanty to do. This vacation was the best ever and I would highly recommend the Hotel Del Coronado to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable get-away!

The last stop on a ten day tour, this place was busy beyond belief. Too big, too much going on, too much everything. Great beach, beyond that, we should have stayed across the street. One night it took us close to a half hour to get our car out of valet parking. Would never stay there again, wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Once I got in I was stunned with the arhitecture of the building and the relaxed feeling. I got up to my room and was stunned at the ocean views and the high quality fo the room. I highley reccomend going to the Del when you can stay over a Sunday since they serve the best Sunday brunch in the historic crown room. All of the staff are so kind that they do what ever it takes to make your stay better! I highly reccomend staying is this astonishing hotel!

We stayed at the Del January 23-25th. What an amazing place. I hope to someday return. We had a wonderful full oceanfront room in the Ocean Towers . Great sunset and the breakfast buffet is well worth the money .

My family and I spent 4 wonderful days at the Del. The entire experience was amazing. The food, the service, the activities and the staff were wonderful. The coffee shop is a must. My husband and I will never forget watching our girls taking surfing lessons for the first time. I am currently planning our next trip which will be to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The Del is a must vacation for everyone.

This place is a chunk right out of history. It has a great atmosphere and great food. It is the complete ocean resort. I visited here over the Christmas holidays last year. The weather was perfect and the hotel was a class act!
