Overview

At the front of Old California Restaurant Row, San Marcos Brewery & Grill welcomes both locals and tourists to an evening of fine cuisine and handcrafted ales. The restaurant is covered in dark woods and forest green accents. At the center of the dining room, several tall tables are seated near the prominently placed bar. The lunch menu features sandwiches, burgers and pastas. At dinnertime, try traditional Fish and Chips. The fish is dipped in premium ale batter, then fried golden brown and served with fries.

I recommend not going to this restaurant. The owner is a rude, arrogant person who insults his customers. He really doesn't care whether people eat at his restaurant or not...it really shows!

One of the best restaurants for a romantic experience of for fun with the family. Great beer and a good view of the process makes you feel a part of the experience.

The San Marcos Brewery is a very low key comfortable place to dine with great service and food. I recomend that you definitely try the Hot Wings and they have an Excellent chicken tortilla soup, Chicken California Salad and fish and chips. It's one of my favorite restaurants in San Marcos.

If you like salads, they have the best Cobb salad ever! I'ts big and full of flavor Thats really the only reason i go. The nacho platter is good too PLeNty of Nachos for 3 people. Aside from the good food, the enviroment is really comfortable too.
