Overview

The Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, approximately 70 miles east of San Diego proper, is America's largest desert state park covering 1,000 square miles of rugged terrain with more than 500 miles of Jeep trails. Owner Paul Ford, "Borrego Paul," will take you on guided tours showing the beauty and harshness of a living desert, all from the comfort of an air-conditioned 4-wheel drive Jeep. You will marvel at the natural wonders: wildlife, native pictographs, geologic formations, starry nights and especially the riotous outburst of springtime desert wildflowers.
