Ever dream of living the surfin' life? Would your friends be green if you came home having ridden the wild, wild surf? If so, here is your chance. Since 1987, more than 5,000 people from ages four to 74 have taken surf lessons from "Kahuna Bob." Lessons are given in the San Diego Bay in the morning and at North County beaches in the afternoon. Fun, safe and based on individual ability, participants receive a diploma upon completion of their lessons.

I found out about KB on the web in 1999. I was supposed to go to China on a Shaolin kungfu trip but when I couldn't go, I thought that I would try my hand at surfing and it was the best move I ever made. Bob is great; he gives you the basics about what you need to do (I was a total beginner), and how to get the most out of your surfing experience. Needless to say, I am hooked and I call upon him about what boards to get and how the surf looks around the world. He's an excellent human being and I totally recommend him!
