This is a phenominal shopping center, hilighting California's rich past with a neat touch of modern culture. Bring the kiddies and enjoy a golden time.

I dined at Brunos the other evening. It was terrible. Started with lipstick on the water "cup" dirty floor, wait staff who are just going throught the motions etc. The food has gone downhill. I was a Brunos fan ever since he had a small deli in Vista. Enjoyed his fine food dozens of times but the past few months the place is getting worn out. If Bruno is not actually in the kitchen the entire place becomes a greasy spoon. The food is un-inspired and the service is inept. There are 4 other Itilian restaurants in San Marcos, no need to suffer with Brunos. Try Grappa on Twin Oaks.

If you enjoy Indian food, you will enjoy the India Princess. Great food selection, though they tend to tone down the spices. You can ask that they be a little more liberal with the spices when you order, if it is what you like. The staff is always chearful, the new serving bowls added a nice touch. I only wish they had more ethnic background music.

The service was the only thing that save the day. Food was not so great, baked potatoe was barely warm and house salad wasn't so fresh. Price was not so good too, soup and salad bar was $8.95.

Excellent food, great service, ribs are outstanding. Nice bar area where you can order dinner and meet people. Cakes are humongous.
