We have been there thrice and enjoyed each time. My advice would be get a club card which is available online andworks cheaper than the regular ticket. Its a different kind of fun..I thought i got all my money back after I saw the Otter show..it was awesome.
We have been to Sea World many times and our last visit was just what we expected...FANTASTIC!!! The rides, the food, the shows and the behind the scenes tour were great. Our son has been 6 times and he is only 4! We love Sea World!
I LOVE THE KILLER WHALES (SHAMMU). WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A KILLER WHALE TRAINER. IF I HAD KIDS THE KIDS WOULD LOVE IT. I WISH I WAS ABLE TO TOUCH THE KILLER WHALES AND REACT WITH THEM. THEY ARE MY FAVORITE ANIMALS.
We enjoyed the Park very much but the price of food nd drink was unreasonably high. After paying $ 59.00 and recognizing that sponsors also underwrite much of the costs for some exhibits I think it is almost criminal to be charged 3.79 for a .50 cent bottle of water and $ 5.59 for a hotdog. For a family of five the additional costs exceed $ 100.00. Being a captive audience I believe this it is extremely unfortunate that visitors are taken advantage of.
We visited San Diego 4 only a couple of days and decided 2 see 1 attraction. We decided 2 choose Sea World thinking it would be the best time. Trying 2 figure out at what time of day 2 go, I ran across "Summer Nights" on their website. They stay open later in the summer and offer night-time only shows and a fireworks display. (DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING @ NIGHT.) The 3 of the 4 shows scheduled @ night all start right around the sametime and only 1 of them shows twice. If you want to have a good time @ Sea World, reserve at the very least a whole day to the park or else you won't get 2 do very much! I would also recommend planning what shows you want to see and map them out ahead of time if you have not been to the park before. I wish I did not waste $100 going to this attraction. We ended up going 2 the Zoo and had a blast at half the price.
We didn't like the price, but you did get two days. The shows were great and fun! Just don't forget your sunblock!!!! If your child is like mine (3yrs old and 38 inchs tall) She wanted to ride the BIG rides and couldn't. Try to stay clear of them, THE new Elmo rides are great!!!!!!
This place is wonderful, a perfect get-away! If you have kids, any age, this should be really fun. You can actually watch performances, go on rides, and have a zoo experience. I think this is a wonderful place for a small vacation!
We have been several times and love it more and more every year. Sea world is always our favorite place to go. see ya this year.
I loved everything about it, it was affordable, the atmosphere was excellent, the people that worked there were extremely pleasant!!! we are looking forward to returning this summer
Great fun! We were there with our Brownie troop and had a great time. The Smokehouse restaurant was excellent, and the shows were amazing.
