The costumes are fantastic and the hats/wigs are something to remember(they are known for them). We bought our tickets at TIX in union square at a discount, but it was worth full price. Great non stop entertainment. The jokes were witty and current. Great production, costumes and talent. I laughed out loud. 90 minutes of fun.

LOL!! This show is non-stop laughing out loud! The writters behind this show are amazing, the actors are hilarious. And talk about costumes, and wigs! Bring cash though you have to pay for your water too! This is definitly worth the money, if not more!

Beach Blanket Babylon is a rare treat for the players and the audience. It is about Big Hair, Big Hats and Big Laughs. Without hesitation I can say that everyone who saw the play or will see the musical review in the future will exit laughing. What I liked about the play was up to the moment satire of public figures on a non-stop basis. The only thing that I didn't like about the play is that I can't see it on an everyweek basis. I personally recommend this play to anyone who has a sense of the absurd and can risk laughing their heads off for the duration of the revue.

I have lived in SF for 25 years and have seen this show about that many times. It is a great show and it changes with the times. It is a classic comedy/skit/singing/current event parody. It is constantly changing and is always great. When I leave I wonder why I don't go more often.

This is a must see when visiting San Francisco. The show was a laugh a minute and the costumes were over the top. Some of the jokes were a little dated, but still funny. You'll be talking about it for days.

I believe the name of the theatre is Fugazzi. It's near China-town. It's an intimate, relaxed setting.. UNTIL.. the performance begins! Then it becomes an intense fun-filled 90 minutes (i beleive) of song and dance and cliches with the most outragous costumes! The characters are the most talented group of performers imaginable. You feel like you really get to know them and LOVE them. We had 4 generations of family with us and we each laughed and clapped and sang along at times. This is a must see performance. And it's been playing for 30 years! It changes with the times and I hear it always gets better with age!

The material is updated every six months to be current on happenings both in the United States and local San Francisco. Custumes are original. Laughs abound. A good time is always had by all.

Local fans often go back again and again because they update their show regularly to keep up with noteworthy current events. The performances are great. The costumes are jawdropping in their zaniness. The cozy theater is situation in the heart of North Beach, which has tons of fun restaurants and cafes.

Creative and amazing costumes, energetic and talented performers will have you laughing out loud! Fast paced and very enjoyable!
