Located in the Renaissance Stanford Court, Fournou's Ovens offers a classic menu refreshed with contemporary touches. Its main attraction, though, are the huge rustic ovens, which are situated in one of the dining rooms. While the menu changes seasonally, dishes, such as Rack Of Lamb are all-time favorites. The wall tapestry and dark furniture contribute to the fine ambiance and no-nonsense look of the restaurant. Don't forget to try the Roasted Duck with Jicama-pecan Salad and the Chocolate Cake, and compliment it with a vintage from the restaurant's 8,000 bottle wine cellar. Located right along the cable car lines, you can get to the restaurant like the local San Franciscans do. Fournou's Ovens is also the winner of the 'DiRoNa Award Of Excellence'. The restaurant offers banquet as well as private party facilities.
