This plush upstairs Cuban restaurant is located in Japantown for some strange reason. Cuban International Restaurant is also one of only two Cuban places in San Jose. The dark red tablecloths and the subdued atmosphere make it a pleasure to dine here. Mostly catering to carnivores, the Brazilian Roast Pork is excellent and the Paella Valenciana is a breathtaking array of seafood that is just as pleasing to the eye as it is to the taste buds.
