Overview

This award-winning architectural masterpiece in Santurce houses four theaters. Smallest is the European-style Café Teatro Sylvia Rexach presenting everything from stand-up comedians to jibaro jazz and dramatic monologues. The Carlos Marichal Experimental Theater's 210 seats are designed for theater-in-the-round and close-up performances. The René Marqués Hall is a 760-seat hall that permits full dramatic staging. The majestic Antonio Paoli Festival Hall is a 1,883-seat concert hall, home of the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra. Ballet, regional and international dance and theater troupes take turns on these stages. In February, many concerts from the Festival Casals de Puerto Rico take place in the various halls.
