Overview

Step back in time to the Wild Wild West in Arizona's largest western theme park. Be careful when you walk through the streets, you never know when a cattle rustler might get involved in a shoot-out. Rides and attractions are throughout the town. If shopping is your idea of fun, you won't be disappointed with more than 15 shops. You can even buy a rattler head for that special someone. Seasonal cookouts, a famous steak house and a saloon are open too; be careful, the sheriff does not like rowdies. Admission is free except for special events. Please call for current information.

Open Hours

Mo to Th from 05:00 PM to 09:00 PM, Fr to Sa from 05:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Su from 05:00 PM to 09:00 PM

Great Experienceby Yahoo | 2008-03-25 14:52:42 |

The town is mostly for children (make sure to buy the bracelet for rides), but the children will have a blast! The adults however, will love the shops and they will especially love the Steak House. The food was great and the live band was great. The price of food was the seems like the same price that we paid everywhere but this was the best food we had all trip! We will diffently go back to visit.

Mostly for families with little childrenby Yahoo | 2008-02-17 03:59:19 |

I live in Scottsdale and when my mother came to visit, we took her to Rawhide. Man, it was such a waste of our time. The place was set up like an 1800's town and they had many activities to do, if you were under the age of 5. There is no admission price which is a plus, but we stayed for about an hour walking around. It was not really what I expected from the website.

overratedby Yahoo | 2007-12-14 01:20:55 |

I thought this place was overrated. My niece and nephew enjoyed it, but I thought it was pretty cheesy. I'm not a fan of western things so if you enjoy that sort of thing you'll probably enjoy this place.

Touristyby Yahoo | 2007-11-13 15:37:25 |

You can walk around the town for free which is good. If you want to do any of the activities, it's best to get the unlimited pass. The restaurant prices are ridiculously expensive. Eat before you go.

Great!by Yahoo | 2006-12-21 02:53:44 |

Rawhide is a great place to go with the family. The candy shop has amazing fudge! There are attractions like camel rides, gold panning, mechanical bull rides, burrow rides and more! There was an old western show that was great! The food was really good and the service was good. Next time me and my family come to Arizona, we will definitely return. Its a little chill, so dress warm! Enjoy!

Rawhide...the worst!by Yahoo | 2006-10-29 20:28:57 |

We used to go yearly to their ever so increasingly bad planned and executed events, but this is the end of the family tradition! This place is nothing more than a place to seperate you from as much cash as possible with as little return as possible. I could have taken the family to Disneyland for less money. The food stinks and now that they've moved to thae reservation/ Casino, it's not worth your time!!! STAY AWAY!!! RUN!!! PS. This year at the Halloween Doom town (Dumbtown) they didn't even have a haunted house????

A waste of time!by Yahoo | 2006-08-07 13:13:31 |

The hotel staff recommended this place for children and families. They must receive a kick back because it was a total waste of time. The food was overpriced. (Kid meals at $9!) The food was barely eatable. Everything else is additional. For example, the street "shoot out" actually was a side show requiring $25 for our family to see. Not worth the time it took to get there. Trust me--you will be disappointed!

Cowboy Saloon Gets a Liftby Yahoo | 2006-03-30 06:29:02 |

We had been to Rawhide many times in its previous location on north Phoenix and always enjoyed the visits. The food at the Saloon/Steakhouse (if you like steaks) was always outstanding. Rawhide is now moved to the south edge of Phoenix as a part of the Wild Horse casino offerings, and we were most aprehensive about the new location and the changes it required. We are pleased that much/most of the ambiance of the old Rawhide had been maintained; the food at the Saloon/Steakhouse is actually better than before, and the western music performance is the best ever. It is still new (in March, 2006), and some work needs to be done on the grounds, especially to cope with the big rainstorm and the mud puddles, but this will come around.

Rawhide-excellent!by Yahoo | 2005-05-16 18:01:38 |

I liked the cowboys around my family and I, and I loved all the stalls and attractions. I hadn't flown all the way over from Britain for nothing, and my day in Rawhide was fantastic!

Overrated if you ask me...by Yahoo | 2005-02-04 19:32:40 |

I attended a corporate event on a Saturday night around Christmas. Granted, they were busy, but that is no excuse for an established company. The food was mediocre at best, the layout of the room left a lot to be desired and their drink prices are off the charts! With so many other touristy places to choose from, I won't be back.
