Overview
Explore the history of flight from the Wright Brothers to space travel. Collections at Museum of Flight include commercial, military and civilian crafts. See a 1929 Boeing 80A-1, the sole survivor of its type. The 1926 Swallow was used as the nation's first contracted airmail service starting in April 1926. For those interested in more modern aircraft, there are the dynamic M-21 Blackbird, the fastest and highest-flying aircraft ever built and the VC-137B Air Force One, which flew President Dwight D. Eisenhower on a historic visit to meet with Germany's Chancellor Konrad Adenauer in 1959. Take a walk through the "Red Barn," a museum in its own right, where the Boeing Company manufactured its first aircraft. There is also a library with an extensive selection of aviation information, as well as a museum store and a cafe on the premises.Open Hours
Mo to Su from 10:00 AM to 04:30 AMIt's awesome. They've got flight simulators,a lot of antique models, and history. Very neat place, and the gift shop is HUGE. But i like the planes, they've got a section on space stuff too. I can't wait until i go there again. The only problem is that the flight simulator, although very realistic, costs a lot- it was like 28 bucks for two pairs... but i love it!!!! oh yeah, pretty cheap entrance fee, a few bucks, and it also gets you into the Boeing airfield showcase thing across the street, which is VERY cool.
Loved the Concorde and the SR-71 Blackbird! You gotta do the F-18 full motion simulator.....well worth the $8.00 to do it!!
This was indeed a great place to visit. The decor of the museum was very pleasant and the static displays were incredible! If you ventured outside, the displays of Air Force One and the Concorde were astonishing as well. I would encourage anyone touring Seattle and surrounding areas to take the time and visit the Boeing Aircraft Museum,
It's cool cuz its like got airplanes n stuff
I learned a lot, I think that this beautiful and helpful museum is very important as History "Hito" in The United States of America... I felt very proud for this work, displays, organization...
