With so much water around, it is natural that boating is popular in Seattle. Rent a kayak at Moss Bay Rowing & Kayak Center and paddle along Seattle's shores and canals. Also rent for the day, the weekend or the week. Rental prices include everything you need except shorts and sunscreen. Helpful staff, prices about average. I found (unexpectedly) that the hours are only 10-4:30pm starting in September... Shower facilities not included :-P They are pretty flexible with where you can take the kayaks and also offer lessons, sail boat rentals etc.
