Overview
Tour Seattle on a refurbished World War II amphibious landing craft. The 90-minute tour includes such attractions as the Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square. Then this strange vehicle plunges into Lake Union. The tour cruises past many houseboats and other lake sights. Tickets can be purchased between the base of the Space Needle and the Monorail Terminal at Seattle Center. Tours leave every hour during the summer, less frequently in the off season.Open Hours
Mo to Su from 09:30 AM to 07:00 PMI totally enjoyed this ride! it was very informatitive ride, the tour guide will give some ideas of things to do and you will learn a little history about Seattle! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
My husband was skeptical about spending the money, but it really is the best way to see the city and then figure out where you want to go and spend more time. Our Captain Greg was excellent and very funny. The 90 minutes flew by! My husband thanked me for pushing him to do it!! I'd so recommend it and will look into doing it again in other cities!
We had a great captain who was so much fun!! He was very informative and also very entertaining. It was definatley a highlight of our trip and I'd love to do this again!! For kids, it's a must do!
Our office decided to ride the ducks in lieu of having a summer bbq this year. Honestly, we all had an absolute blast. Totally worth the price. Just remember to leave the Seattle attitude behind and have a little fun for once!
This was the coolest tour we've ever taken. What better way to see the sights of Seattle than with a very funny, personable tour guide that plays great music throughout the trip. I would recommend this tour to EVERYONE! Lots of fun!
I recommend the Duck Tour as the quintessential Seattle experience second only to the Space Needle - if only for the 'cruise' around Lake Union. However the entire 90 minutes is informative as well as goofy. Our driver was Skip Towne and he kept us all entertained and informed with bad jokes and loud music. It's a hoot and everyone goes along with the joke. I consider it a good value for the money and it gave me more of an idea of where the various neighborhoods and areas of Seattle are. I have driven around Seattle sparingly because of the crazy layout of most of the streets and also because I can't trust myself with a standard transmission on those hills downtown; therefore I'll take the Duck to get the lay of the land.
The tour itself is OK. However, if you do not enjoy hearing duck noise makers that all parents purchase for their little darlings throughout your wait in line and entire trip, this is not the tour for you. There are constant bad jokes that only someone under the age of 10 can appreciate. Also, be prepared to hear Disco Duck, a relly bad song about a Halibut and Sponge Bob Square Pants. To the last song the children on the ride will scream the words at the top of their lungs. This is definitely a tour geared toward children 12 and under.
I can tell you that the driver makes a big difference as some of our passengers had been with others not as good as the one we were with. A great way to see a lot of Seattle and to get the usual tourist info as well as some fun and silliness. Great for all ages. It is pricey at $25 a ticket but not a bad value compared to other choices. This is a 90 minute ride through all parts of seattle as well as a boat ride. Enjoy
This is a MUST to do!!!!! Great value for the money. We had Capt. "Lee King", he was very informative and funny! There isn't anywhere else you can take a tour on land and water.
i loved this tour because it's so fun and makes you dance and get into the groove with fun cool music and when you dive down buy safeco field there is fun coming yopur way!!!! and there is so many things to take home!!!and somuch more fun!!!! thanks
