Overview

The architecturally stunning PuDong International Airport is located along the coastal part of PuDong District. This massive airport occupies 32 square kilometers of land and is 30 kilometers and 40 kilometers away from the People's Plaza and Hong Qiao International Airport respectively. The airport can handle aircrafts of any size and type. The airports goals are handling 70 million passengers and five million kilogram of freight per year. Two freeways, the Dragon East and Far East, were built specifically to support airport traffic.
